Short Sands Beach in York Maine is a favorite summer vacation spot for many families. The bowling alley, arcades and many shops are always on our list of places to visit. This shot was later in the afternoon and most of the beach goers had left to spend time at the arcade and gift shops.

Welcome to my gallery. Though I love both oil painting and photography, my focus here is photography. I took up photography to build up reference material for my oil painting, but I found I loved it as an art form in and of itself. I enjoy hiking in the Central MA area and vacationing in Maine. You will find most of my work focuses on these regions, both beautiful and special in their own way. I feel fortunate to reside in Central MA, with my family, and live in the midst of such beautiful subject matter.
