Lady slippers are fairly abundant at Moore State Park in Paxton MA. Some species are considered endangered or threatened. However, all along the trails they can be found in late May to early June. I can't help but photograph them. The sky was overcast this day and pink of the petal really pops as a result.
Welcome to my gallery. Though I love both oil painting and photography, my focus here is photography. I took up photography to build up reference material for my oil painting, but I found I loved it as an art form in and of itself. I enjoy hiking in the Central MA area and vacationing in Maine. You will find most of my work focuses on these regions, both beautiful and special in their own way. I feel fortunate to reside in Central MA, with my family, and live in the midst of such beautiful subject matter.
