Welcome to my gallery. Though I love both oil painting and photography, my focus here is photography. I took up photography to build up reference material for my oil painting, but I found I loved it as an art form in and of itself. I enjoy hiking in the Central MA area and vacationing in Maine. You will find most of my work focuses on these regions, both beautiful and special in their own way. I feel fortunate to reside in Central MA, with my family, and live in the midst of such beautiful subject matter.

I love old suits of armor. I shot a wedding in an old armory out in Central MA.. Very cool and tough as hell to get the light right...
Michael Saunders replied:
Hi Jeff. Thanks for the comment. I'll bet this suit of armor came from that very same armory. There was a museum called Higgins Armory in Worcester MA that had a significant collection of armor. They close in December and the collection has been relocated to the Worcester Art Museum where some of it is on display. This photo was from that recent opening. Have a great day.
