Artist's Description
Lowell MA is a great place to visit and take photographs. There is abundant history especially if you are interested in the Industrial Revolution. The canal leading to the structure in the background attracted my eye.
About Michael Saunders
Welcome to my gallery. Though I love both oil painting and photography, my focus here is photography. I took up photography to build up reference material for my oil painting, but I found I loved it as an art form in and of itself. I enjoy hiking in the Central MA area and vacationing in Maine. You will find most of my work focuses on these regions, both beautiful and special in their own way. I feel fortunate to reside in Central MA, with my family, and live in the midst of such beautiful subject matter.
