Artist's Description

Doanes Falls in Royalston MA is a beautiful spot where the Lawrence Brook drops into a magnificent, dramatic set of waterfalls. This shot shows the very top of the upper falls. There are trails alongside Doanes Falls so you can get fairly close. The falls dump into Tully Lake which is beautiful and serene sharply contrasting the wild waterfalls that feed it.

Welcome to my gallery. Though I love both oil painting and photography, my focus here is photography. I took up photography to build up reference material for my oil painting, but I found I loved it as an art form in and of itself. I enjoy hiking in the Central MA area and vacationing in Maine. You will find most of my work focuses on these regions, both beautiful and special in their own way. I feel fortunate to reside in Central MA, with my family, and live in the midst of such beautiful subject matter.
